Flu Season is coming! Flu Season is coming!
It's not an emergency but really, who wants to be sick and in bed for days when you could be well and just use your sick time for a fun adventure? Here are some helpful tips to help prevent the spread of the Flu and other viruses:

Proper Hand Washing: You should be washing your hands regularly through out the day, especially before meal times. Be sure to lather over the backs of your hands and in between your fingers and rinse well for at least 15 seconds. Now if you are like me in my head is not always time in real life and who carries a stop watch to the sink? If you sing the ABC song in your head with the normal cadence it takes 15 seconds.

Virus Hot Spots!: Door handles, knobs, push plates, faucet handles, and light switches are the common areas that we often forget to sanitize, sure we dust them but dry dusting doesn't take away or kill viruses and germs. Wiping these areas with a cloth and a multi surface cleaner once a week will help and spraying them with a disinfectant spray a couple of times a week in between regular cleanings will kill viruses and germs that can cause those inconvenient illnesses.

Simple Tips for Cleaning Kitchens and Breakrooms:
- Work from top to bottom! Whenever possible keep it simple, ultimately this helps to minimize cleaning time.
- Microwave quick clean: Mix together 1 part vinegar and 2 parts water, soak a kitchen sponge and place it in the microwave. Set it for 2 minutes on high, then let it sit for an additional 3 minutes with the door closed. Once cooled use the sponge to wipe out the microwave.

SupplyTime Bathroom Cleaning TipsSimple Tips for Cleaning Bathrooms:
- Wipe down surfaces after every shower! Daily maintenance will make occasional deep cleaning easier. Use a reusable cloth or sponge to wipe down the shower or tub, mirrors, and walls daily.
- Once a week pour 1/2 cup baking soda down the shower drain followed by 1 cup of vinegar and hot water. Perfect for drain maintenance.

Simple Tips for Cleaning Living-rooms
- In a spray bottle mix 1 part white vinegar and 2 parts water. Use old newspapers and the cleaning spray to wipe down windows. To get the streak-free look you may need to repeat depending on how dirty the windows are.
- For leather furniture, a light dusting of talcum powder can be used to remove stains. Let the powder sit overnight and blot clean with a damp cloth in the morning. Be sure to not soak the leather. Too much water can be damaging.
